Cupcakes Vienna goes MUMOK

Hey :)

TOP!

Hey guys :)

As promised todays hotspot. Yesterday some people already noticed which hotspot it will be. Cupcakes Vienna goes MUMOK. Some of you might remember that I already wrote about Cupcakes Vienna before, but as Cupcakes Vienna are now opening a new store with a new concept in the Museumsquarter, it is a must to have a look.

The new Cupcake Vienna cafe is situated on the Museumsplatz 1 - when you enter the Museumsquarter (main entrance) - just go straigt ahead - go upstaris at the MUMOK and than follow the nice Cupcake Vienna sign. But now the most important thing are the cupcakes. From chocolate-chilli, over vanille, to strawberry flavours - the variety is bigger than ever. As I was talking about a new concept - Cupcakes Vienna offers now even more than just cupcakes - now they even offer soups, salads, vegetarian/fish/meat dishes and spicy cupcakes as well. The cafe itself is designed simpler -(which is a surprise if you know the other 2 shops) - but still really nice. All the delicious cupcakes and pink accesoires make a great atmosphere. What I really love is, that you can sit outside, enjoy the sun and eat a cupcake or take a breakfast.

Conlusion: It is quite unfamliar for me to eat sth different at Cupcakes Vienna, but everything tastes really really good. Never the less I am still in love with Cupcakes. :) Whoever is in the MQ should not miss it! TOP!

Pokos Obertrum

Hey :)

Eure
Marlene

Hey guys :)

How are you? As I promised you yesterday I have a new hotspot for you. Only 20 kms far away from the city center of Salzburg you can find the Trumer Seengebiet with lovely landscape, lakes and a fantastic deliscious hotspot. Pokos is the name of a restaurant located in Obertrum.

Why have I chosen this hotspot? Well it is one of my favorites ones - because of its so called "Fingerfood" plate for 2 persons. Chicken wings, potatoe chips, vegetables, mozarella sticks, vegetable rolls, chicken nuggets and three dips you will find on the big plate. Apart from that fact that it tastes deliscious it is a lot. Whoever is still hungry after eating the plate can enjoy handmade ice cream or sundaes - you should definitely try the Raffaelo ice cream!
The furniture and design of the restaurant is simple, modern and young. The atmosphere is cosy and relaxed.

Conclusion: Whoever is planning to spend a day on one of the many lakes in the Trumer Seengebiet should not miss this restaurant!

Have a nice day!

Frozen Joghurt Vienna

Hey :)

Marlene

Hey guys :)

I hope you have enjoyed the sun a little bit! Today I have something freezing but really deliscious for you - Frozen Joghurts. Frozen Joghurts have opened last years in Vienna 4 shops and the number is increasing as people love them! A reason could be the low rate of calories and the fact that it tastes so yummi. Today I have checked two stores for you!

The frist ones are located in the 1st distrcit - close to St. Stephens Cathedral. You can find Kurt Frozen Joghurt in the Krugerstraße 12 and in the Schultergasse 2. The first impression of the shop was that it is a really elegent but small shop. The frozen joghurt pure was amazing and the toppings were fresh and deliscious. You can also sit outside and enjoy the sun while eating the chosen frozen joghurt.

The 2nd Frozen yogurt shop is in the 4th distric, located in the Faulmanngasse and is called Foxy. This shop is also very stylish, more retro and small. A small bar where you can relax and even 2 pink benches in front of the shop, are waiting for you to sit down enjoy the frozen joghurt. The frozen yogurt Basic tastes, compared to pure, little less like yogurt (but tastes amazing)  but the selection of toppings and sauce here is more convincing - in other words WOW!

Conclusion: No matter which of these two shops you will go- it's worth it, for sure!

In this sense, have a nice evening :)

Cup Cakes Vienna

Hey :)

Eure
Marlene & Kathrin

Hey :)

Today we got up very early for you guys. In the 8th district we were looking for a tiny little shop- probably the sweetest one in Vienna :) . In a range of round about 20 different  ones you can choose your favorite . What are we talking about? We talk about Cupcakes Vienna.
At Albertgasse and Josefstädterstrasse you will find two cosy little shops. It's for sure worth having a look, maybe a little breakfast or just a chat.
The shops are both just so unique- white furniture with pink and brown decoration elements- makes you think that you are with Alice in the wonderland. The variation of cupcakes is really amazing. The special thing about these cakes are that there are not only sweet ones but also some salty ones. Our favorites are the banana cupcake and the salty albondiga cupcake.
With 3,90 Euros for a large one it's also something for the small wallet.
And if you are looking for a special gift like for valentines day or a birthday present, they will create you the perfect cupcake (small or large) or even a birthday cake.

For us, this visit sweetened our morning! :)

Yours
Marlene & Kathrin
