Events Vienna

Morgen :)

Heute geht es Wien richtig los mit Veranstaltungen. So wird eben Tel Aviv Beach (Beachclub in Wien) ab 17 Uhr eröffnet und es findet der Lieblingsflohmarkt ab 15 Uhr (in Kooperation mit Kleiderkreisel) vor der Grellen Forelle statt. Beide Veranstaltungen sind gratis! Am Abend habe ich dann wieder einen neuen Hotspot für euch :)

Today there are taking place many events in Vienna. There is the opening of the beach bar Tel Aviv Beach (start 5 p.m.) and the Lieblingsflohmarkt (fashion flee market - start 3 p.m.) in front of the Grelle Forelle. Both events are for free!
In the evening I will have another great hotspot for you! :)

Cafe Pierre Vienna

Das Wetter heute war ja echt schön! Leider sagt der Wetterbericht morgen Regen an, deswegen mein Tipp für morgen - geht doch Brunchen. Unweit der Mariahilferstraße, in der Windmühlgasse 23, befindet sich ein kleiner Brunch-Geheimtipp.

Das Cafe Pierre ist ein charmantes französisches Café, dass sich in einem schönen Altbau Gebäude befindet. Im Café selsbt erwartet einem schönes Mobiliar und der Duft von frischen Café und Crossaints. Auf einer 2. Ebene aufgebaut, befindet sich das riesige Buffet. Von warmen Speisen wie Quiche, Eierspeise, Rosmarinkartoffel, 2erlei Suppen, gebackenem Gemüse und Hühnerstreifen, bis hin zu Käse-, Wurst-, Lachsplaten, frischen Früchten, Müsli, Joghurts, Aufstrichvariationen und noch viel mehr!! Das Essen schmeckt wirklich toll und ist sehr gut zubereitet. Mein Highlight waren aber die frisch zubereiteten Crepés - einmal pikant mit Schinken/Käse und einmal mit Marmelade. Bitte mehr davon!

Hey guys :)

Today we had sunny weather and warm temperatures! Tmrw rain is expected.  Therefore my suggestion for you is to sleep long and go afterwards to an amazing french Café for brunch. This Café is located close to the Mariahilferstraße in the Windmühlgasse 23.

The Café Pierre is a charming french café, which looks really nice and inviting. The nice furniture as well as the smell of fresh baked croasants and fresh made coffee, gives you the feeling you are in France. On the second level there is the big buffet offering you a great variatey - from Quiche, srumbled eggs, rosmarin potatoes, different soups, baked vegetables and chicken, to cheese-, coldmeat and salmon platter as well as fresh fruits, cereals, joghurts and differnt spreads ... . The food is well prepared tastes and smells fantastic!! My personal highlight are the fresh made crepés - one with cheese and ham and the other one with marmelade!

Whoever wants to enjoy french flair in Vienna should try it out!

City Bike Tour Vienna

Hoffentlich hattet ihr auch ein schönes Wochenende :) Heute gibts mal einen Hotspot anderer Art - City bikes. Über 100 City bike Stationen gibt es mittlerweile in Wien. Gerade im Sommer sind City bikes die ideale Alternative zu den naja doch sehr überfüllten Öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln. Toll ist es sich auch am Wochenende eins auszuleihen und um den Ring zu fahren. Genau das habe ich heute gemacht und es hat sich echt gelohnt.

Aber was sind city bikes? City bikes sind Fahrräder die man sich gratis ausleihen kann. Besonders toll ist, dass man eine Stunde immer gratis fahren kann! Die zweite Stunde kostet dann 1 € oder man stellt das Rad für 15 Minuten in die Station und fährt dannach wieder umsonst weiter.
Wer kein Rad in Wien hat oder mal spontan Lust hat auf das Rad umzusteigen für diejenigen sind die Bikes wirklich ideal! Mit einer EC Karte (Ö) oder jeder gängigen KK kann man sich am Terminal anmelden. Für Touristen lohnt es sich online zu registrieren!

Fazit - purer Fahrspaß in der Metropole Wiens

I hope you had a great weekend :) Today I have a different hotspot for you - city bikes. Over 100 city bikes station are located in Vienna. Especially in summer it is a good alternative from the mostly overfilled metros, trams and buses. City bikes are also a great tip for the weekend! I enjoyed driving around the Ring and really enjoyed it!

For those who do not know what city bikes are - city bikes are bike you can rent almost for free. The first hour is always free! :) and the second hour only costs 1€. If you do not want to pay then you have the opportunity to leave the bike in the station for 15 minutes, because after 15 minutes you can rent it again for free!
Whoever does not own a bike or wants to explore Vienna by bike city bikes are a great choice! Registration is easy - you can register at any city bike station with your credit card or online.

My conclusion - TRY IT OUT

Strandbar Hermann Vienna

Hey :)

Wie ich euch heute Mittag schon angekündigt hab, habe ich nun den nächsten Hostpot für euch. Direkt bei der Urania am Donaukanal, versteckt sich Hermanns Strandbar.
Strand, Liegestühle, frisches vom Grill und eine Cockail Happy Hour sind nur ein paar Argumente die für die Strandbar sprechen. Das tollste ist aber sicherlich der Blick aufs Wasser. Da kann man manchmal echt vergessen, dass man sich in einer Großstadt befindet. Im Sommer gibt es auch oft Live Übertragungen auf Leinwand von Fußball Spielen - dann heißt es schnell sein, die Liegestühle sind da schnell weg.
Das Essen ist aber auch ein weiteres Highlight. Gerade im Sommer gibt es Hausgemachte Burger, chinesische Nudeln und andere Schmankerl. Für die Abkühlung kann man Ben & Jerry Eis kaufen. Am Samstag ist dann Brunchtime im Pavillon. Schicke Sitzmöglichkeiten laden dann zum entspannten Essen ein.

Die Stranbar Hermann ist sicherlich der Klassiker unter den Strandbars in Wien! Ein Besuch lohnt sich allemal!

As I mentioned before I have a new hotspot for you. Just next to the Urania, only 3 minutes away from the metro station Schwedenplatz, you can find Hermanns Beachbar.
Sand, canvas chairs, food from the barbecue and the cocktail happy hour are only few of the many highlights. The best thing is probably the water view which sometimes let you forget that you are sitting in a vibrant city. During summer there are often football games shown on a big screen.
Another highlight is definitely the food. Ranging from house made burgers, till chinese noodles, there will be something for each of you.  On saturday it is time for a brunch at the Pavillon. Nice and pretty designed furniture invites you to sit down and enjoy.

Hermanns Beachbar is fore sure the hero under the beachbars in Vienna! If you have time - check it out!

Frozen Joghurt Vienna

Ich hoffe ihr konntet trotz Arbeit die Sonne etwas genießen! Heute hab ich etwas eisig- leckeres für euch - Frozen Joghurt. Frozen Joghurts kamen im Sommer letzten Jahres erstmals nach Wien und erfreuen sich großer Beliebtheit. Kein Wunder so haben Frozen Joghurts wenig Kalorien und schmecken trotzdem. Ich hab heute gleich mal zwei Frozen Joghurt Shops für euch unter die Lupe genommen.

Kurt Frozen Joghurts liegen gleich unweit des Stephansplatzes in der Krugerstraße 12 und in der Schultergasse 2. Beide Kurt Frozen Joghurt Läden sind klein, aber sehr einladend. Die Auswahl an Toppings ist wirklich gut. Vor allem das Frozenjoghurt Pure schmeckt wirklich echt toll! Die Toppings waren frisch und einfach nur lecker. Wer in der Kärtnerstraße unterwegs ist oder am Stephansplatz ist, sollte unbedingt einen Abstecher hierher machen.

Der zweite Frozen Joghurt Laden liegt in der Faulmanngasse im 4. Bezirk und heißt Foxy. Auch dieser Laden ist sehr stylisch und klein. Eine kleine Bar lädt zum verweilen ein und vor dem Laden stehen pinke Bänke den Gästen zur Verfügung. Das Frozenjoghurt Basic schmeckt im Vergleich zum Pure etwas weniger nach Joghurt jedoch überzeugt die Auswahl an Toppings und Saucen hier mehr - die sind einfach der Wahnsinn.

Fazit: Egal für welchen dieser zwei Läden man sich entscheidet- es lohnt sich auf jeden Fall!

I hope you have enjoyed the sun a little bit! Today I have something freezing but really deliscious for you - Frozen Joghurts. Frozen Joghurts have opened last years in Vienna 4 shops and the number is increasing as people love them! A reason could be the low rate of calories and the fact that it tastes so yummi. Today I have checked two stores for you!

The frist ones are located in the 1st distrcit - close to St. Stephens Cathedral. You can find Kurt Frozen Joghurt in the Krugerstraße 12 and in the Schultergasse 2. The first impression of the shop was that it is a really elegent but small shop. The frozen joghurt pure was amazing and the toppings were fresh and deliscious. You can also sit outside and enjoy the sun while eating the chosen frozen joghurt.

The 2nd Frozen yogurt shop is in the 4th distric, located in the Faulmanngasse and is called Foxy. This shop is also very stylish, more retro and small. A small bar where you can relax and even 2 pink benches in front of the shop, are waiting for you to sit down enjoy the frozen joghurt. The frozen yogurt Basic tastes,compared to pure, little less like yogurt (but tastes amazing)  but the selection of toppings and sauce here is more convincing - in other words WOW!

Conclusion: No matter which of these two shops you will go- it's worth it, for sure!
