12 munchies Vienna

Guten Morgen :)

Geht es euch gut? Nachdem es gestern doch sehr spät wurde - kommt heute der zweite Teil der süßen Wien Postings. Ich muss ehrlich gestehen, dass ich von diesem Hotspot viel erwartet habe und NICHT enttäuscht wurde! Im 18. Bezirk unweit des Türkenschanzpark, in der Türkenschanzstraße 2, habe ich es nämlich gefunden - das Schokolade Schlaraffenland.

12 munchies lautet der Name dieses Paradieses. Von mit Streusel überzogene Schokolade Cake pops, Vanilla Cupcakes bis hin zu diversen Marmorkuchen - da läuft einem das Wasser schon im Mund zusammen. DAS HIGHLIGHT ist aber der Schokolade Cheesecake, mit einem saftigen Schokoladeboden und Cheesecake Topping. In meinem ganzen Leben habe ich noch nie einen so leckeren Cheesecake gegessen! 
Abgesehen von den tollen Leckereien ist der Laden auch wirklich sehr einladend -sehr klein aber stilvoll eingerichtet. Bei Schönwetter kann man sogar draußen vorm Laden entspannen.

Mein Fazit: Ein.verstecktes Juwel im 18. mit den besten Cheesecake von Wien, wenn nicht sogar Österreichs.

 How are you doing? As I promised you I now have the second hotspot of the sweet Vienna postings. Yesterday it was a little bit too late to do this posting. I honestly need to tell you that I expected a lot from this hotspot and I did not got disappointed! In the 18^th district, just next to the Türkenschanzpark, in the Türkenschanzstraße 2, I found the chocolate heaven.

The name of this chocolate heaven is 12 munchies. From Vanilla Cupcakes, chocolate Cake Pops up to double chocolate cakes – I am sure you will also find your preferred sweet. BUT the best one was the delicious chocolate cheese cake. At the bottom of the cake was chocolate cake, topped by a chocolate cream and topped again by cheesecake. I have never eaten such a good cheesecake ever! Apart from the really good sweets 12 munchies has a charming store which invites you to sit down and enjoy. The furniture is also really nice. You can sit inside or outside.

My conclusion: 12 munchies is a hidden place which has the best chocolate cheesecake in Vienna, maybe in Austria as well.

Funny Cookies Vienna

Heute Vormittag gibt’s schon mal den ersten Teil der süßen Wien Serie. Wie versprochen hab ich mich auf die Suche nach den besten Cookies, Muffins und Cake Pops aufgemacht.
Die außergewöhnlichsten Cookies findet man bei Funny Cookies. Bunt, außergewöhnlich aber vor allem eine Sünde Wert.

In der Lerchenfelderstraße, 5 min vom Volkstheater/MQ entfernt, befindet sich Funny Cookies. Ein Blick in das liebevoll-dekorierte Schaufenster verrät schon was es hier gibt. Betritt man den Laden kommt der Duft von frisch gebackenen Keksen aus der Küche. Das Besondere an dem Laden ist, dass sich funny Cookies auf der Herstellung von Cookies aller Art verschrieben hat – Cookies auf Stiel (wie Cake Pops), XXL Cookies oder Themen Cookies. Wem die Auswahl im Laden nicht reicht, der kann auch sich auch welche Designen lassen und bestellen.

Meine Empfehlung wer seine Liebsten überraschen möchte, was Besonderes für die nächste Firmenfeier sucht ist mit Cookies am Stiel oder XXL Cookies ist hier gut aufgehoben! Das Ambiente ist TOP und die Besitzerin sehr charmant und bereit zu helfen.

This morning I have the first part of the sweet Vienna postings. As I promised I was searching fot he best cookies, muffins, cake pops and other sweet. I found the most extraordinary cookies in the Lerchenfelderstraße, just a few metres far away from the Volkstheathre,MQ. This cookies are colourful, extraordinary and really deliscious – Welcome to Funny Cookies Vienna.

The first impression of the shop is - sweet and like a small paradise! A look into the shops window is a lookalike from Alice in the Wonderland. Once you enter the shop the smell of fresh made cookies welcomes you. Funny Cookies makes Cookies Pops (like Cake pops), XXL Cookies and other great cookies. The variety of offered cookies in the shop itself is not big but you can order any cookie you want to have!

My conclusion: Who wants to surprise his friends or needs something special for his company event must order there some cookies! The atmosphere in the shop is great and the owner is really charming and ready to help you.

Rori's finest sweets Vienna

Frankreich trifft auf England! Wo? Im 5. Bezirk von Wien unweit der U-bahnstation Pilgramgasse befindet sich ein charmantes Café mit Wohnzimmerflair und den besten süßen englischen und französischen Köstlichkeiten in Wien. Willkommen bei Rori’s finest sweets!

Von außen knallig in Pink, innen in angenehmen Blau – so lässt sich das Design in ein paar Worten beschreiben. Tré chic! Doch das wichtigste sind die kleinen Köstlichkeiten und liebevoll gebackenen Kuchen, welche einen Hauch Frankreich und England nach Wien mitbringen. Unbedingt zu empfehlen ist ein Framboine (Himbeer) Törtchen! Der Duft von leckeren Kaffee macht es nicht schwer die Entscheidung zu treffen noch ein Weilchen bei Rori’s zu verweilen!

Mein Fazit: Wer mal Lust hat dem Alltag etwas zu entfliehen und in ein charmantes französisch, englisches Café eintauchen will – MUSS unbedingt mal vorbeischauen! Preislich ist es nicht ganz günstig, doch die Qualität ist 1A und somit jeden Cent wert!

France meets England! Where? In the 5^th district in Vienna – just a few metres far away from the metro station Pilgramgasse you can find a really charming café with probably the best French and English sweets in Vienna. Welcome at Rori’s finest sweets!

The interior mixes blue and white while the wall outside the shop was coloured in pink! Tré chic! BUT the most important point are the delicious sweets and handmade cakes, which bring some French and English flair into the city of Vienna. A must to try is the Framboine tarte! The smell of fresh coffee made the decision easy to stay for a while there!

My conclusion: Whoever wants to escape from daily stress and experience a part of French and English feeling in Vienna should go there! Even tough the price is not inexpensive – the quality is excellent and worth it!
